Forget/Reset password flow

This guide explains how to reset your password if you forget it.

On the Login Page:

1. Open the application and enter your username in the designated field on the login screen.
2. Locate the “Forgot Password” or similar option situated below the password field. This option might be a hyperlink or a separate button.
3. Click on the “Forgot Password” option.

Requesting Password Reset:

1. You will likely be directed to a page where you can initiate the password reset process.
2. Enter the email address associated with your account in the designated field. This is typically the email address you received your username and initial passcode on.
3. Click the Reset button to send a password reset request on the email

Verifying with OTP:

1. Check your email inbox for a message from the application containing a One-Time Password (OTP).
2. The email should include instructions on how to use the OTP to reset your password.

Setting a New Password:

1. Check your email inbox for a message from the application containing a One-Time Password (OTP).
2. The email should include instructions on how to use the OTP to reset your password.

Scenario:

1. The user attempts to log in with their username and password.
2. Due to an unexpected browser refresh (or any mistake), the login attempt fails.
